TNPL 2021: Suresh Raina calls himself a ‘Brahmin’ during commentary, finds himself amidst new controversy

Know more about Suresh Raina's latest controversy at TNPL 2021

Suresh Raina is one of the most amazing and talented cricketers that we have seen in this country. He’s the only Indian cricketer who has managed to hit a century in International cricket in all three forms of the game, Test cricket, ODI, and T20. After having retired from cricket, the batsman is now enjoying his stint as a commentator in the Tamil Nadu Premier League.

However, he ended up becoming a part of a controversy in an unexpected manner. During the commentary, he reportedly was quoted as saying,

“I think I am also a Brahmin. I have been playing since 2004 in Chennai, I love the culture. I love my teammates. I have played with Anirudha Srikanth, Badri (S Badrinath), Bala Bhai (L Balaji). This has led to a wide backlash after he apparently co-related the Chennai culture with him being a Brahmin.
