Tokyo Olympics 2020: Bajrang Punia in semis, India Women’s Hockey team lose bronze medal match, Shah Rukh Khan shares consolation tweet

It’s been a mixed day for the Indian contingent at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 today.

After a really tough fight, the Indian Women’s Hockey team lost to Great Britain 3-4 in a bronze medal match. The team might not have won a medal but they have certainly made the country proud with the way they played.

Meanwhile, Indian wrestler Bajrang Punia defeated Ernazar Akmataliev of Kyrgyzstan to enter the Men’s Freestyle 65kg quarterfinals.
