Avani Lekhara bags her second medal in the tournament, Praveen Kumar bags silver medal at Tokyo Paralympics 2020

A really happy and positive news coming in from Tokyo Paralympics 2020.

India’s Avani Lekhara clinched her 2nd medal at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympics by winning the bronze in the women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions (SH1) event on Friday. She had earlier become the first Indian woman to win gold at the Paralympics by finishing top of the podium in the women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing (SH1) event and now, she has achieved another milestone with a third-place finish in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions event.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, India’s Praveen Kumar won the silver medal in the men’s high jump (T64) final with a jump of 2.07m.
