Virat Kohli is one of the most admired and loved cricketers not just in India but all over the globe. The man has worked immensely hard in all these years to become one of the finest and most respected cricketers in the country. Off-late, he hadn’t been in form for quite a long time. But ever since he completed a century against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022, he has certainly been high on confidence and that’s why, his loyal legion of fans must be looking forward to see him perform well in the upcoming T20I World Cup and forward.
While a lot of his fans must be hoping for the same, former Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar feels Virat Kohli might retire after the T20 World Cup in Australia. As per reports in NDTV Sports, Akhtar was heard saying in his vlog,
“Kohli might just take retirement after the T20 World Cup. He may do that to extend his longevity in the other formats. If I was him I would have looked at the larger picture and taken a call.”
