Sania Mirza is one of the finest players to have represented India in Tennis at an International level. She’s quite literally been the reason behind many young girls taking up Tennis as a profession. Sania has had some fantastic achievements throughout her entire career and we are certainly proud of her. Some time back, she has announced her retirement saying that 2022 will be her ultimate season. Well, Wimbledon 2022 wasn’t the start that she was looking forward to.
Sania and her Czech partner Czech partner Lucie Hradecka were eliminated in the opening round with the Polish-Brazilian combination of Magdalena Frech and Beatroz Haddad Maia beating them 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 in a hard-fought three-setter.
