In the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup, India has been a hot favourite side to be in the hunt for a place in the finale for the longest time. And guess what? It did happen. After defeating Thailand by 74 runs in the semifinal, the likes of Smriti Mandhana, Harleen Deol and others managed to reach the final. And now guess what, they managed to beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets to clinch the title. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 65/9 at the end of 20 overs post which, India scored 71/2 at the end of 8.3 overs.
