KL Rahul has become a part of the Indian cricket team for a long time now. Although he likes to let the swing do the majority of the speaking, his calm attitude both on and off the game has been praised as well. His off-field persona has indeed been strongly tied to the fighter scars that blanket the majority of his body. While some of his paintings have a narrative, most of the imagery on his skin is unknown.
He discusses some of his favorite tattoos and what they mean to him in this article.
1. On the left forearm, there’s a tower: He holds the tower in high regard since it reminds him of his childhood home. KL Rahul did grow up in Mangalore, near the seaside, before moving to Bengaluru to pursue his cricket prowess. Glancing at the tower tattooed on his arm evokes memories of his Mangalore beach bungalow.
2. Using ram horns as a key: Because KL Rahul is an Aries, the key was designed with ram horns. The keys that he wears around his arm, represent his eagerness to try new things and expand his intellect via different discoveries.
3. He has a clock tattoo on the inside of his left bicep, with his hands written at 11 a.m. The vertical lines are drawn at 11 a.m. since KL Rahul was born at that moment. The motto “Veni, vidi, vici,” which translates to “come, see, dominate” in Latin, is inscribed on KL Rahul’s body around the clock to indicate that his time as an Indian cricketer has begun and that he intends to rule the world with his bat.
4. He has a tattoo of the whole eye on his left bicep, which reminds people that his grandparents are continually watching over and protecting him.
5. On the right forearm, there is a Deshi Basara writing that reads: KL Rahul adores the comic book superhero, Batman. Deshi Basara, which means “to spring up,” is a phrase from the 2012 Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.
6. In Roman numerals, 284 is: This tattoo is located on the right side of his chest. It is his Indian Test cap number. He was the 284th cricketer to play for the Indian cricket team, therefore this tattoo means a lot to him because he had to work extremely hard to gain a seat on the squad.
7. KL Rahul has his mother’s name Rajeshwari inked on his left forearm and his father’s name Lokesh on his right wrist. KL Rahul got their initials inked on both wrists because his parents became irritated by the increasing number of tattoos he was obtaining. They haven’t had issues with him obtaining new tattoos after then.
