The Indian Premier League or the IPL is one of the most awaited cricket tournaments in the country. Tracing its history back in the year 2007, the IPL was founded by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It is a twenty 20 form of cricket played usually during the time of March to May. Next in line is the Captain Cool of Mumbai Indians (one of the leading teams of the tournament) Rohit Sharma. Rohit has a record of 227 sixes in his IPL career. These were the top three and following them are MS Dhoni at 219 and Kieron Pollard at 214.
