The Indian Premier League (IPL) has always been close to the heart of all the Indian cricket lovers, from its very first season. It has got some really strong teams, starting from Mumbai Indians (MI) to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), but the two teams who have remained constant with their performance are Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

The three-times winners, CSK has always received a lot of love and support from their fans. On the other hand, KXIP has been no less than them. They have done wonders on the fields, with their sheer power. Seeing the two teams competing with each other, is worth exciting. The teams have faced a number of encounters in the tournament.
The first one being, the 18th 2019 IPL match, was one of the best encounters of all time. CSK won the match with 22 runs. But that didn’t allow KXIP to lose all hope. They came back with massive power and won the 55th match against them with 6 wickets. The IPL 2010 16th match can be regarded as the second-best encounter, where the match was tied. But KXIP won the match in the super over.
There are many more encounters, that are worth remembering. The list is too long. The two Kings have faced 21 encounters to date where Chennai won 12 times and Punjab won 9 times.
