In the 48th match of IPL 2019, the two teams clashed. It was one of the exciting matches of that season. KXIP was really doing miracles in the last season, but SRH was no less than them. SRH played excellently by taking 10 runs from the last over and scored a total run rate of 216 runs. KXIP had to score 217 to win the game, but SRH didn’t allow them to. They encountered KXIP really well and resisted them from chasing runs, by their mind-blowing fielding and bowling. Kane Williamson’s catch made KL Rahul depart at 79 runs, which led the team a little hopeless. The matter got worse when Chris Gayle departed after scoring 4 runs when Manish Pandey caught his ball. The team had to score 56 runs out of 12 balls, which they failed to do and made SRH rank fourth in the point table.
This was regarded as one of the best IPL encounters between the two teams.
