David Robert Joseph Beckham is a retired professional footballer from England. He became one of the most renowned players in the world during his playing days. As a young boy, David enjoyed the sport football very dearly and always had a keen interest in it.

Beckham began his football career in his hometown of London, where he played for a few local clubs before joining Manchester United’s youth development programme. David Beckham enjoyed success at Manchester United during the club’s extraordinary winning streak in the mid and late 1990s.

David Edward Alan Beckham and Sandra Georgina Beckham welcomed David Beckham on May 2, 1975, in the Leytonstone neighbourhood of London, England. His mom was a hairstylist, while his father was an appliance repairman. Beckham was the only son of his parents and he and his two sisters grew up together.

David attended Chase Lane Primary School as a kid before attending Chingford County High School as a teenager. Beckham, on the other hand, was more interested in football as a boy and used to play for a local team called Ridgeway Rovers.
