According to El Mundo, a Spanish newspaper, who has been disclosing the forward’s contract, Neymar receives a monthly ‘ethical bonus’ of 541,680 euros gross.
The former Barcelona player receives his half-million euro reward for being “courteous, prompt, nice, and available to fans” while being publicly critical of PSG.
That means the Ligue 1 team is paying Neymar about €6.5 million a year only to show up and “meet and thank the supporters before and after each game.”
After the match, the player must refrain from making “negative public comments about the club, those who work there, and those who support it” on Twitter and must thank the fans before returning home.
I believe that most individuals would be willing to be pleasant and not criticize their employer if they were paid 5/6ths of their weekly income at the end of each month.
As per a Spanish newspaper, Neymar has caused the Parisiens €489,228,117, which is far more than double his transfer fee.
