Saina Nehwal

Saina had once walked on the ramp of Lakme Fashion Week for a Chennai based designer, Vaani Raghupati. It was a summer/resort collection which was titled Ayaan, which showcased some fabulous traditional wear pieces.

Saina closed the show in a bright yellow lehenga with gold detailing. The blouse had heavy embroidery and the skirt was embroidered at the hem and printed for the rest. For the jewellery, she wore a diamond neckpiece with matching earrings and she looked stunning.

PV Sindhu

P.V. Sindhu, the star shuttler, walked the runway for Shriya Bhupal’s debut solo show. Sindhu wore a fuchsia pink off-shoulder blouse with an embellished, flowing skirt of the same colour with floral designs to unveil Bhupal’s current autumn/winter collection, ‘Sanctuary,’ for the designer she has known since childhood.

“It was an amazing experience to win gold at the World Championships and I was pleasantly surprised to come back home and learn that Shriya was doing her first solo show in Hyderabad. We have known each other for years and naturally, I am happy to be a part of it. I am glad to be showcasing her amazing new collection as I have always loved her work,” said Sindhu.

Sania Mirza

Sania Mirza too once turned showstopper for designer Anushree Reddy at the Lakme Fashion Week. Sania was stunned on the ramp in an embellished blush pink lehenga with a cape-like dupatta design. She wore a diamond choker to complete her look.
