For the aspiring sportsman, this enabled Hardik to be aware of how fitness is an important component of performing at the top level.
Hardik Pandey shares his five must-have exercises.
Warmup: The very first thing is to do a proper warmup. This will help your body loosen up your muscles, allowing them to move better. This also contributes to one’s flexibility.
Reverse lunge, Overhead press: This helps the core of your body and engages balance in one’s shoulders. It also includes the upper and lower trapezius. Doing lunges boost your metabolism. Overall results in strengthening the entire body.
One-arm kettlebell swing: This exercise helps grip strength and strengthen your core body. This helps for a good body posture.
Hurdle drills: This induces mobility and overall body coordination. Working out leads to a healthy body.
While focusing on how important fitness and working out are, The Cricketer said, “As a professional cricketer, fitness drills have been integral in improving my game and have helped me become an impact player. My fitness regime has added impetus to my performance and allowed me to play each game with high intensity and faster recovery.
