Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Kieron Pollard was set ablaze on Saturday as he rocked the greatest six in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday. Pollard was seen in splendid touch as he played a great knock of 35 runs off 22 balls to help MI post a battling all out of 150/5 being the first of the team at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Pollard nailed a sum of three sixes in his batting knock including the greatest hit so far in the 2021 season. In the seventeenth over of MI’s innings, Pollard smacked spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman for an enormous six over the profound mid-wicket area. It was 105 meters in length and a tremendous hit that turned into the greatest six in this version.

Pollard surpassed RCB star Glenn Maxwell, who had hit a 100m six recently. Pollard (105m) and then Maxwell (100m) and then Surya Kumar Yadav (99m) and Manish Pandey (96m) and Abdul Samad (93m) have hit the greatest sixes in IPL 2021 up until now.

However, the Sunrisers Hyderabad Team were closing up on the Mumbai Indians team with Jonny Bairstow knocking 43 runs off 22 balls and David Warner with his 36 runs. Trent Boult took 3 wickets that led to the victory of the Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians will be facing Delhi Capitals soon.
