Bumrah was born in Ahmadabad, Gujarat in 1993, in a middle-class Sikh Ramgarhia family. His father, Jasbir Singh, who was an industrialist died when he was just 7 years old. His mother, Daljit Kaur raised him up single-handedly along with his sister, Juhika Bumrah. His grandfather, grandfather Santokh Singh Bumrah is a great fan of him, who lives in Kiccha, Uttarakhand. Bumrah’s mother was a principal in Nirman High School, Ahmedabad, from where he did his schooling. He was 14 years old when he decided to become a professional cricketer. Bumrah has always got full support from his family, and they have always been his motivation. No doubt, he has made everyone in the family proud.
