We all know, Michael Phelps has been the best swimmer of all time, in fact, he is also considered the best Olympian of all time.

Michael Phelps was brought into the world on June 30, 1985, in Baltimore, Maryland. He began swimming at age 7, for 2 reasons. The first? His more seasoned sisters, Hilary and Whitney, swam, and he needed to attempt the game. The second? Phelps had a huge load of energy as a child, and his mother felt that swimming could help him monitor it

He found the amount he adored swimming and wound up joining the North Baltimore Aquatic Club at age 10. Around this time, Phelps met his mentor, Bob Bowman. As a mentor for North Baltimore Aquatic Club, Bowman perceived Phelps’ latent capacity and began pushing him to prepare more enthusiastically. Mentor Bowman was there when Michael made his first Olympic Games in the 200-meter butterfly and addressed Team USA in Sydney, Australia, and when he turned into the most youthful swimmer at any point to break a world record, winning the 200-meter butterfly at the 2001 World Championship Trials.

After winning his 8 gold medals in the Beijing 2008 games he broke the record of the famous American swimmer Mark Spitz’s record with his 7 gold medals in a single Olympic game. He was also nicknamed the “Flying Fish” for his amazing swimming techniques!!
