Kobe Bryant, unfortunately, died in a helicopter crash in January 2020 along with his daughter and some other members. This is a tragedy on many levels that extends far beyond the death of a well-known basketball star.

Bryant was a player who was responsible for many of the sport’s most memorable moments in recent history, according to basketball enthusiasts.

After defeating the Portland Trailblazers in seven games, the Los Angeles Lakers advanced to their first NBA Finals since the Kobe/Shaq era began. With this pass from Bryant to Shaquille O’Neal, the Lakers won the game and the series and went on to win their first NBA championship.

Bryant sat out the fourth quarter after scoring 62 points in three quarters in a 112-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Going into the fourth quarter, Bryant had outscored the whole Mavericks squad 62-61. This is the first and only occasion in NBA history.

Bryant, LeBron James, and other NBA superstars pledged to win a Gold medal in Beijing in 2008 after the United States won a Bronze medal in the 2004 Olympics. They succeeded in the Gold Medal round, defeating Spain 118-107. In 2012, Bryant won another gold medal in London.
