Jasprit Bumrah took a break from cricket in March of this year to marry famous sports broadcaster Sanjana Ganesan in a spectacular wedding in Goa. Few people knew anything about Bumrah’s romance before this year, and they were keen to understand every detail, such as how it started and what their first impressions of each other were.
Bumrah sat down with Dinesh Karthik and spilled the beans on their relationship. As per Bumrah, it all began however during the 2019 ODI World Cup in England.
While things went easily after they began conversing, the biggest issue was that neither one of them wished to start the chat since they each thought the other was “arrogant.”
“I’d definitely seen her a quite often, but we both had the same issue.” “She thought I was arrogant, and I thought she was arrogant, so we never really spoke,” Bumrah told Karthik in a Sky Sports appearance.
“I first spoke with her during the 2019 World Cup, when she was in town reporting the event. We became acquainted and began to spend a lot of time together. It’s been great; we’ve been married for five months and are really happy,” Bumrah continued.
Bumrah feels himself blessed to have a soul mate who understands the game and how difficult it can be for players when things don’t go as planned.
“She recognizes the sport and what the person goes through, so whether things go wrong or right, we have a lot of great discussions, which really helps me. And, certainly, you have to focus on other things now that you’re playing cricket and travelling all the time, and you’ve got your wife with you.” Mensxp claims that.
