The Euro 2020 witnessed its darkest and horrific side as Denmark’s midfielder Christian Eriksen was knocked out cold on the ground as soon as he got a pass from his teammate. He was given CPR on the field which if not given, would be a fatal incident. He then was moved to a nearby hospital on a stretcher, reports were passed on where the footballer said that he was doing well. Eriksen dropped during the 42nd minute of a match against Finland in Copenhagen. The match was promptly suspended. It restarted two hours after the fact. Finland scored in the subsequent half and won in an agitated, 1-0.

The unnerving scene unfurled late in the main half. In the wake of getting a toss-in, it initially gave the idea that Eriksen, a 29-year-old Danish star, had only staggered to the ground. The broadcast film had shown him on camera minutes sooner completely cognizant, however running gradually and seeming, by all accounts, to be winded.

After he fell, his Denmark partners saw he was in trouble and immediately motioned for a clinical group to surge onto the field. Eriksen’s partners, some in tears, framed a circle around him as paramedics regulated CPR. Danish group specialist Morten Boesen, one of a few who watched out for Eriksen on the field, said that “it was pretty clear that he was unconscious.”

However, he was worried about the other players other than himself!!!
