Rishabh Pant has been incredible ever since his debut. He has scored in some of his best matches and is yet to show his talent to the Indian fans. Rishabh Pant, the left handed wicketkeeper-batsman, has played some unbelievable and incredible shots in his cricketing career before. Nonetheless, he pulled off something unprecedented on Friday on the second day of the fourth Test against England while in transit to his Test hundred in Ahmedabad. Pant was batting on 89 and was edging towards a well deserved hundred. Nonetheless, what he did on the following ball was not anticipated by anyone- be it the Indian fans or the English.
Short of a good length ball from one of the most experienced bowlers, James Anderson, Pant decided to do the converse lap. When Anderson was through his step, Pant changed his position, sat tight for the ball and cleared it over the slip cordon to get another boundary and get to 93. Pant has incredible strength and skills when it comes to reverse sweep.
This time the bowler was Jofra Archer, known as perhaps the fastest bowler on the planet. Notwithstanding, Rishabh Pant sponsored himself and played an unbelievable scoop shot that went cruising over the boundary rope for a six. Pant scored the six against one of the fastest bowler India has ever seen.
