Saina Nehwal is a very famous Indian professional badminton player who has recorded over 24 title wins in her international badminton career. She was ranked as no.2 badminton player globally, no too long ago in the year 2015 she claimed her position as the world’s number 1 badminton player, this feat made her the only female player and a second player after Prakash Padukon to do so. The badminton player has overall represented India thrice in the Olympics and her second appearance she won a bronze making our nation proud.
As we all know, Saina Nehwal announced her retirement this year after her elimination from the All England Open Badminton Championship, the retirement hurt her a lot as she has too many of memories the sport.
In the year 2019, PV Sindhu who is a phenomenal badminton player from India became the only Indian to win Badminton World Championship. PV Sindhu was the second female to put our country’s name on the map and she has worked a lot for it. PV Sindhu brought home her first Olympic medal coming second and getting the silver medal at the Rio Olympics. PV Sindhu has got many years more to achieve her longtime dream to secure a gold medal in the Olympics!!
