In the latest IPL season that was held in the UAE, cricket fans across the world saw something extraordinary. Deepak Chahar’s team Chennai Super Kings led by none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni might’ve lost the match but he won the hearts of many including his girlfriend whom he proposed to after the match in the stands.
Chahar, who didn’t have a great day in terms of his performance in the match as he smashed 48 runs in the 4 overs that he bowled; made sure to turn his day over by proposing to his long-time girlfriend, Jaya Bharadwaj.
In the video that was shared on social media by Deepak himself, he is seen going down on one knee for his lady love Jaya, who seems to have been caught completely off guard by his gesture.
Taking to Instagram, Deepak shared a post which he captioned as “Picture says it all. Need all your blessings #taken”. Fans and well-wishers went gaga over the news and blessing wishes started pouring in from all across the world. He also shared the video of his proposal, which he captioned as, “special moment”. Well, it sure was a special moment, and I wish the couple a happy and bright life ahead.
