Shanthakumaran Nair Sreesanth is one of the finest Indian cricketers. His right-arm fast-medium-pace bowling skills were fabulous, and so was his right-handed tail-ended batting. But the player faced a ban of 7 years due to the involvement in the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing scandal. But he is one of the players where every Indian cricket fan wants him back to the field. He has won the hearts of many Indians with his outstanding performances.

When we talk about S Sreesanth, one can never forget to recall the 2006 India’s Wanderers Test tour to South Africa. The tour is remembered by many fans, for several reasons. And, Sreesanth’s sixer on the Andre Nel, is one of them. Andre was found sledding the Indian batsman, by calling themselves the “best team” and saying Indians “don’t have a heart.” He also asked Sreesanth to look upon the scoreboard. As a powerful reply, he chose to shut him with his outstanding sixer. After scoring the six, he was found dancing. Years later after the incident, he even termed it as ‘momentary madness’ after recalling it. Even though none of the batsmen scored a century from India, but they won the match by 123 runs. And it was Sreesanth who took eight wickets in the match.
The tournament was really memorable for many. The tussle with the South African player, Andre Nel was worth memorable, as it ended up in such a revengeful situation. Have a look at this video footage of the incident!
