Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan hosted a lavish celebration to congratulate badminton player PV Sindhu on her bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The party, which took place on August 20 at their Hyderabad home, was a huge success. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan shared a video of the celebration on their social media accounts on August 28, Saturday evening, giving fans a sneak peek into the party.
Star celebs from the Telugu film industry & other well-known Telangana figures were among the guests at the party. Politicians T Subbirami Reddy and Jayesh Ranjan of Telangana IT, actors Radikaa, Suhasini, Nagarjuna and his young son Akhil, Daggubati Ranna, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, film producer Allu Aravind, and others were among the guest list.
The guests interact with Sindhu in the video, with the champion proudly showing off her bronze medal to the celebs and posing for photos with them. Chiranjeevi tweeted said he was delighted to congratulate Sindhu in front of well-wishers for being the very first two Olympic medals winner among the women.
“Thank you for being a superb host @chiranjeevikonidela sir and @alwaysramcharan,” Sindhu responded on Twitter. It was an eventful night with fun-loving guests and great conversations! It is always a pleasure to be in your cheerful, joyous company!”
PV Sindhu is the first Indian woman to win two Olympic medals in her career. In a run, having won silver in Rio in 2016 and bronze in Tokyo earlier this month.
In the meantime, Chiranjeevi is getting ready for the release of Acharya. On the event of his birthday on 22nd August, three other films — Bholaa Shankar, Godfather, and another yet-to-be-titled – were also unveiled.
Ram Charan just concluded filming for SS Rajamouli’s RRR, one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film features Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Olivia Morris, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles set against the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. Alluri Sita Rama Raju will be played by Ram Charan, and Komaram Bheem will be played by Jr NTR.
