Despite being only 23 years old, Arshdeep is not a fresh name in Indian cricket. The left-arm for the Punjab Kings had an outstanding IPL season this year, and as a result, he was given his first national cap. Then, in his first game in England last month, he immediately made an impression by executing his yorkers at a good clip. His numbers there in the UK were 3.3-1-18-2.
Arshdeep Singh is a left-arm pacer from Punjab who was a part of the U-19 team that won the World Cup in 2018. Arshdeep left everyone in awe with his pace and control of the new ball in the two games he participated in during the competition. A few months later, he was nominated for the Punjab U-23 team. In the CK Nayudu Trophy match against Rajasthan, he had an impact with the ball, taking 8 wickets, including a hat-trick. The Vijay Hazare 2018/19 state team selectors decided to include him as a result, and Arshdeep had a respectable start, taking 2 wickets against Himachal Pradesh.
He was then invited to Kings XI Punjab’s trials where he showed his abilities as a death bowler, enticing the team to sign him prior to the IPL 2019 season. Arshdeep Singh made his debut against Rajasthan Royals in Mohali, where the left-arm seamer defeated two of RR’s star players, Jos Buttler and Ajinkya Rahane, thanks to Punjab’s ongoing lineup changes. The youngster’s debut turned out to be one filled with excitement. He was, however, excluded from the following contests until making a comeback in a road match against SRH. Although Arshdeep only managed to take one wicket, the experts praised him for his yorker delivery near the end of the innings.
Let’s take a quick glimpse at his graph.
