The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 has got a great response. The 2020 Caribbean Premier League of West Indies is held every year. And just like every other year, it took place this year as well but got a bit postponed for the pandemic situation. The eight seasons of CPL happened across six countries – Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Guyana, Barbados, Saint Kitts, and Nevis, and Saint Lucia. CPL 2020 started on August 18, 2020, in a closed-door format and ended on September 10, 2020, with Trinbago Knight Riders as the winner. The CPL this year has not only been a big wait for Caribbean cricket fans but also for cricket fans from all over the world too.

On the other hand, the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Twenty20 Indian cricket league has become one of the top leagues since 2008. IPL is regulated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) every year. The pandemic has affected IPL as well and postponed it to September 2020. This year, it is getting a place in the UAE (United Arab Emirates) in a closed-door format. The IPL fans and the players are full of excitement. They have waited for it and finally, it is happening.
