Shubman Gill is India’s most popular player. The rising star has made some exceptional records within a year of entry into the international Indian cricket team. Well, that’s not just what keeps him in the headlines, but he is dapper, and his dimples on the cheeks make girls go crazy about him. However, the new star is fulfilling the dream of being a cricketer, which isn’t his, actually. But he got this from his family member. Read more to know.
Shubman Gill started playing cricket at the age of 3. His father used to train him since he was young. Shubman Gill’s father, Lakhwinder Gill himself, dreamt of becoming a cricketer, but he could not due to the responsibilities on his shoulders. That’s why his father worked hard so that he could help and support Shubman to fulfill his dream.
To train his son, Shubman Gill’s father turned his farm into a cricket field. This is not just, and he also announced that whoever gets him out would get 100 rupees. And so, to win, Shubman used to practice for hours. After that, everyone used to come and ball him, which helped him improve his game.
Though becoming a cricketer was Shubman’s father’s dream, it eventually turned into his own. He is so passionate about cricket that he used to wake up at 3:30 in the morning, practice all day, and improve himself every day. Undoubtedly his spectacular performance made selectors happy.
It’s inspiring to see how dedicated Shubman Gill is to cricket.
