The Indian national kabaddi team has got a number of a great set of players. All the 7 players in the team have got their own abilities and tactics. Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has also provided a new opportunity for many new players. There have been a number of top defenders as well. Indian kabaddi team has got many great and successful defenders like Girish Ernak and Mohit Chillar.
Girish Maruti Ernak is one of the top defenders that the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has ever witnessed till date. He made his debut in PKL and got huge recognition in the field. Girish has been one of the effective players of the Puneri Paltan team in PKL, since the very first season. He later shifted to Bengal Warriors in season 3 and 4, but again came back to Puneri Paltan. The player has got 64 tackle points for Puneri Paltan and is well known for defending skills.
Mohit Chillar, another Indian kabaddi player has been no less. He has done phenomena in most of the matches. He is currently a part of the Tamil Thalaivas team in PKL. The talented defender has become one of the top players of his team. Mohit has got the fifth rank in league’s all-time High 5s with 17 scores, and fourth in the Tackle Points with 240 points and 20 in Super Tackles. He is considered to be one of the top defenders of Indian kabaddi.
