Glenn McGrath is an Australian bowling legend who is now a commentator and often comes out with suggestions for cricket teams when he feels like. After the Indian batting crumbled into pieces after Australian bowling brought the best in them. Indian team management fell into deep thinking about who was supposed to skip playing and who was supposed to replace them in the next encounter.
Ex-bowler Mcgrath suggested his views on the topic of discussion. McGrath said that “Virat Kohli is such an impact player. Without him, it leaves a big hole but at the same time it leaves an opportunity for other players to put their hand up.” He said that KL Rahul is an impressive player and he can be a good replacement for Virat Kohli. He also named a replacement for out of form Prithvi Shaw. McGrath also said, “The other options India has is Shubman Gill, who actually came out looking positive in one-day series. He didn’t seem to be overawed by the stage, that to me would be one potential change at the top.”
These are the two suggestions that were given by McGrath. So far Gill has managed to become a reliable test debutant after getting added to the Indian side for the Second Test against Australia.
