The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is certainly occurring after a row of hiccups. All 8 teams of IPL have got themselves prepared well for the IPL 2020. Out of all, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) have done exclusively well. Both the teams have become two of the top successful teams in the history of IPL.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have already been the champions three times in the years 2010, 2011, and 2018. CSK, also known as the ‘Whistle Podu’ squad, by their fans has a great set of experienced players in the squad. CSK has a number of powerful and effective players in the team from batsmen, to bowlers, fielders, and wicketkeepers from both domestic and international levels.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians (MI), have been no less. They have left a remarkable impression. MI is undoubtedly one of the most successful teams in the IPL. They have been the four-time IPL champions in the years – 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019. The Mumbai Indians team has got a lot of powerful, skillful, and effective players from both domestic and international cricket.
The Mumbai Indians team holds a record of 17-11 lead over the Chennai Super Kings team in the history of IPL. Although Mumbai Indians lost to CSK in IPL 2014 and also in the opening game of IPL 2020, Mumbai Indians have also lost all five matches in the IPL 2014, which was held in UAE. But this year, Mumbai Indians are at the top of the list and the first team to qualify for the playoff. Whereas, Chennai Super Kings didn’t do much well in IPL 2020.
