Shane Watson lovingly called ‘Watto’ by his teammates and well-wishers has represented Australia in all forms of the cricket game. A right-handed batsman and a right-handed fast-medium swing bowler, Watson has played really supreme cricket in his prime.
Even now, when he has retired from National duties, he remains one of the main pillars of his IPL franchise team Chennai Super Kings. He is an opener who can play flamboyantly well, flexing his big muscles to hit sixes.
Coming to his personal life, Watson was born on 17 June 1981, to Bob and Barb Watson. He is married to Lee Furlong and has a son named William Watson and a daughter named Matilda Victoria Watson.
