Out of all, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have been one of the remarkable teams in the history of IPL. They are one of the topmost teams in the history of IPL. They have already been the champions for once, in the very first inaugural season of the Indian Premier League. The Rajasthan based IPL squad has a great set of amazing players in the squad. RR has a number of powerful and effective players in the squad from batsmen to bowlers, fielders, and wicketkeepers from both domestic and international levels.
But even after so much success, the team has been stuck in a lot of controversies over the ages. Out of all, the team was stuck in the biggest spot-fixing controversy of the IPL in the year 2013. Several people were arrested because of the case and teams were banned. The spot-fixing incident took place with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team. The teams faced a major ban for two years by BCCI since 2015 for the Lodha Committee inquiry. In fact, the owner Raj Kundra was also banned for life. This has been one of the heated controversies of IPL. Later after two years, RR made a major comeback in 2018.
