Jwala Gutta, the Indian professional badminton player has been representing her nation since the early 1990s. She has played in both mixed doubles and women doubles and has got a total of 316 match wins in both the disciplines. She has the highest wins in Indian and sixth highest in the world. Jwala has won several medals like Bronze in 2011 World Championships, silver in 2009 Superseries Masters Finals and 2014 Commonwealth Games, and many more in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) circuit. Jwala is great with her left-handed stroke-play and forehand services.

She is currently the brightest face of the Indian Badminton, by being one of the highest-paid female athletes in 2018 and 2019, as per Forbes. She has brought the silver medal from the Olympics to the nation. In 2019, she won the gold medal at the BWF World Championships.
