While having a Q&A session with Steve Smith, Virat Kohli revealed which ODI century is the most favourite. Steve Smith asked Virat about his century against Sri Lanka in Hobart; whether it was his favourite knock or any other. Virat took a deep breath to think about all the centuries he has scored in ODI cricket as there are many and replied, that was the inning that really made him think that now he is finally moving towards the right direction and that he is finally playing the way he always wanted to.
However, his most favourite ODI hundred was the one that he made against Pakistan where he scored 183*. Pakistan set a target of 330 in front of India during the Asia Cup and Virat incredible knock helped India chase this huge total. This century that Virat scored is the most special and favourite inning to Virat Kohli. Later Virat also revealed that his most favourite inning was during a T20 match against Australia at Mohali.
He said he went into a ‘trans-mode’ where all he could do was focus well and play excellent shots. He also said that even he doesn’t understand how he was playing that good as everything he hit was going through the gaps. This was the inning that is very special to Virat as even today he is not able to decode that inning he played. He himself doesn’t understand how he played so well and hence it gives him the courage to handle pressure situations during the rest of the matches.
