Neeraj Chopra the talented sportsman has made our country proud by becoming the youngest-ever Indian Olympic gold medalist in an individual event and the only one to have won gold in his Olympic debut. Neeraj is ranked second internationally by World Athletics. He is a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) in the Indian Army, and holds the record of being the first track and field athlete to win a gold medal for India at the Olympics.
Chopra’s parents are Satish Kumar and Saroj Devi, he was born in Khandra village in Haryana. He has two sisters and his family is completely into agriculture.
