Indian Cricketers often treat us with a few throwback pictures from their childhood and teenage days. The way they looked back then and the way they have turned out now is a total 360-degree transformation. In the earlier years, cricketers were not so much obsessed with fitness. They concentrated more on their game. However, the new age cricketers are driven to work out and train in the gym as well as practice to better their game. Here are some of our favourite cricketers who had a major transformation and we are honestly loving it.
Virat Kohli: When Virat Kohli made his debut in international cricket, he was this proper Punjabi guy with chubby cheek and hair up in spikes. He had his own style of dressing. However, as years passed, this man had a total transformation. He went from chubby to fit with a lot of hard work and training. His transformation was commendable.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni: The huge six-hitting cricketer was known for his long hair. The inspiration was from actor John Abraham and it was MS Dhoni’s signature style. However, few years later, he cut them off and began sporting different hairstyles. Apart from that his dress sense also took a major turn. Dhoni has always maintained his physique and agility by training hard and hence has been successful in getting runs by running between the wickets.
Hardik Pandya: The Baroda boy keeps sharing his throwback pictures from teenage years. He was a lanky man when he first appeared in the IPL. However, the way he built his body in a few years is really commendable. Hardik Pandya is one of the fashion-loving cricketers in the team and his fashion sense has also developed in these years.
Take a look at their then and now pictures and stay tuned for more such updates.
