One and the only reason is no doubt the wins they have. Mumbai Indians being the most successful team in IPL has been four times IPL champions of the years – 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019. Whereas, Chennai Super Kings has been the three times champions – 2010, 2011, and 2018. So not the point of rivalry comes when CSK tries to overtake MI, and MI try to maintain their position on the top. Both the squads have got a number of great players. When CSK has a brilliant set of experienced players, MI has got a good team of young and effective players.
