Indian Premier League, officially known as Vivo IPL is a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India in 2007. They have managed to pull off 12 successful seasons and the thirteenth season begins from 29th March 2020. It is the most-attended cricket league in the world. It has 8 teams representing 8 cities of India. Players from different countries are a part of this league. This thirteenth season is highly anticipated and here’s why.
Among the major changes to the upcoming season of the tournament, concussion substitute and third umpire for no balls will be introduced, as stated by BCCI president.

There will be an IPL All-Stars tournament that will take place before the IPL. The idea of the concept to host the all-star match came from the current president of BCCI Sourav Ganguly and IPL GC chairman Brijesh Patel. We can’t wait to see the big names in cricket-playing together as a team.
Mumbai Indians Team has won 4 seasons in odd years i.e. 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019. We are excited to see whether they can break their own record and win the fifth time.
Royal Challengers Bangalore has great players in the team but has failed to make an impact. We can’t wait to see if they make it to the finals this season.
Out of the 8 teams, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab have not won the IPL Trophy as of yet. We are excited to see if we have a new winning team this season.
