After having a very successful IPL season 2020, T. Natarajan was called for India’s tour of Australia as a nets bowler. He has made a huge impact for his IPL team, Sunrisers Hyderabad and based on that he was a perfect choice to be included in the team after Varun Chakravarthy was out after an injury. Natarajan made his debut in the last ODI against Australia and as he expresses on his social media, it was a ‘Dream come true movement for him’.
In one ODI and three T20s that he played, he took 8 wickets in total a stunning economy of 6.91 in the T20s. he even got rid of troublesome Glenn Maxwell with a perfect yorker when he was looking good and scoring runs against Indian bowlers. His bowling figures in the ODI match was 2/70 in the 10 overs that he bowled. This is more than expected from a young debutant and hence will be memorable for him as well as his fans.
Another good moment for him was when Hardik Pandya appreciated his bowling and handed over his MOTS (Man Of The Series) award to Natarajan. According to him even if he scored runs and won the match for India, Natarajan played a key role in the bowling side and he deserves to be appreciated. Even Captain Kohli handed over the series win trophy to Natarajan showing that he was brilliant throughout the T20 series and he deserves the trophy.
