Neymar Jr. (Brazil)

Neymar Jr., who is 29 years old, is the youngest player on the list. We had expected him to stay till the FIFA World Cup in 2026. However, following next year’s edition, the Brazilian international has announced that he will retire from international football. Neymar is undoubtedly Brazil’s most important player right now, and his performances will be critical to the country’s chances at the FIFA World Cup in 2022. In his international career, he has scored 70 goals and remains one of the top players in the world.

Giorgio Chiellini (Italy)

Italy has produced some of the best defenders in the game’s history. Giorgio Chiellini, the Juventus center-back, has been one of the greatest in the game for over a decade and is still a powerful presence in Italy’s backline. The 37-year-old’s fantastic center-back partnership with Leonardo Bonucci was instrumental in Italy’s European Championship victory this summer.
