Steve Smith is an Australian international cricketer and former captain of the Australian national team. Smith is consistently rated as one of the top-ranked Test batsmen in the world, according to the ICC Player Rankings. The Australian cricketer is a live wire in the field. Well, with the worldwide outbreak of coronavirus, all the cricket events are suspended currently and so these cricketers are on a forced break. To maintain their fitness and speed, they engage in some form of workout or training.

Steve Smith has put this lockdown to much use by running his first half marathon. He shared a picture on Instagram where he is seen with his running shoes on. “Yesterday I attempted my first 1/2 marathon. I’ve never ran further than 12kms before so I knew it would be a grind. Proud to have completed it although getting out of bed this morning was tough! I think I’ll be feeling the pain for another couple of days ?”, wrote Smith. The lockdown has certainly got all of us lazy but Steve Smith still managed to achieve his target.
