RIP: Famous American journalist Barbara Walters passes away

A really sad and heartbreaking news is coming in from the world of American broadcasting. As per the latest media reports in BBC News, pioneering US TV broadcaster Barbara Walters has unfortunately passed away. Her career spanned half a century. She was 93 when she breathed her last. For the unversed, she became the first US female network news anchor when she joined ABC News way back in the year 1976.
