It’s trouble galore for Chinese apps including the behemoth TikTok with the Indian government sending a permanent ban notice. Was it on the cards? Well, many would say so, however the future of TikTok and 58 other Chinese apps seem grim as government of India decided to ban them. The apps though been under the radar since sometime owing to allegations of data theft, the decision could very well be triggered with the rising India-China tension on the border.
