Neha Kakkar (born 6 June 1988) was born in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, but was brought up in the capital of the country, Delhi. She is an Indian playback singer who has lent her voice to numerous songs of Bollywood movies. The talented singer first rose to fame when she participated in television reality show, Indian Idol Season 2, in 2006, at a very young age when she was studying in class XI at New Holy Public School.
