Tokyo Paralympics 2020: Avani Lekhara becomes first woman to win gold, Yogesh Kathuniya and Devendra Jhajharia bag silver, Sundar Singh Gurjar bags bronze
A piece of really happy news coming in for all keen followers of Indian sports at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. India's Avani Lekhara became the first woman to win gold at the prestigious tournament and with that, she also equalled the World Record in Women’s R2 10m air rifle standing SH1. Not just that, Yogesh Kathuniya bagged silver in Men’s Discus Throw F56 whereas Javelin Throwers Devendra Jhajharia and Sundar Singh Gurjar bagged silver and bronze respectively in Men's Javelin Throw F46.
