The classic 1989 television series Fauji, which marked the debut of Shah Rukh Khan, is making a comeback in a new avatar. Producer Sandeep Singh has teamed up with India’s national broadcaster, Doordarshan, to bring Fauji 2, a revamped and modernized version of the original series. Fauji 2 will feature a fresh cast, headlined by Vicky Jain and Gauahar Khan, with twelve new actors joining the team. Much-loved actor-director and erstwhile army man, Colonel Raj Kumar Kapoor, the man who introduced Shah Rukh Khan in Fauji, passed away in New Delhi on Thursday, 11 April, at the age of 87. Renowned Sound Recordist, T.L. Kanta Rao who has had a great journey in the TV industry passed away today (16 January). Kanta Rao who was 80 years old expired peacefully today morning at about 7 AM.
