Exclusive: Himanshu Ashok Malhotra bags Contiloe’s show Swaraj

Himanshu Ashok Malhotra who was last seen in Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei will don a patriotic character in his next, for Doordarshan's show Swaraj. The historical episodic series produced by Contiloe Pictures will dwell on the patriotic struggles of a lot of freedom fighters. Himanshu will play the role of Veerapandiya Kattabomman, the 18th century Tamil freedom fighter who refused to accept the invasion of the British East India Company and was seen waging a war against them to protect his Mother Nation.
