Recently, we had been reporting about huge changes in Star Plus' FPC. It is now confirmed that the Gul Khan produced Ishqbaaaz-Pyaar Ki Ek Dhinchak Kahani will bid adieu on 15th March. Yesterday we had exclusively reported that the channel mandarins were also contemplating to take out two more shows. First was the Saurabh Tewari helmed Krishna Chali London. We were unsure of the second name. We can now state that it is none other than Balaji Telefilms cult show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (YHM), is what we have been told by our sources. Krishna Chali London to go off air?
With Star Plus locked in a fierce see-saw battle with rival Colors and Zee to retain numero uno GRP position, and with Colors having inched forward this week, it is being speculated that Star is going to effect a major overhaul of its existing FPC (programming shed), in a bid to reinforce its hold on numbers. Already the chopping has started with Ishqbaaz, now rechristened as Ishqbaaaz-Pyaar Ki Ek Dhinchak Kahani, coming to an end on the 15th of this month.
