My late mother and grandfather are my true inspiration, says Indian photographer Kormiyaki Lamarr

Indian origin photographer Kormiyaki Lamarr, who is making it big in the west, reveals that he is immensely inspired by his late grandfather Honsen Lyngdoh, who was a tribal Khasi philanthropist and died at the age of 81 in 2018 and his mother Sambha Lamarr, who founded CALM (Creative Art, Literature and Music) festival in Shillong in 2012. At the age of 47 she passed away in 2016. It was his mother, who got Chetan Bhagat, Shobha De, MJ Akbar amongst many other celebrities and actors from India to the festival.
